Ivana, my very beautiful friend. I shall miss you hugely. We bonded deeply when we met at the Royal London, staying in opposite beds on the same ward after our operations for ovarian cancer. We used to keep our curtains open so that if we woke up in the night we could have the comfort of seeing each other. I miss you dearly, my travelling companion on our cancer journeys, my dear sister. You grew so much through your cancer journey, and you teach me so much through your living and dying, you give me confidence that, while often difficult and challenging, the journey can be a wise and loving teacher, if we can learn to open our hearts completely and simply trust. I love you dearly and know that you are always in our hearts.
